Colmar celebrates spring

Colmar, the picturesque Alsatian town, is preparing to welcome spring with an unmissable event that promises to delight the senses. From March 28 to April 21, the town comes alive with two captivating markets set up on the Place des Dominicains and the Place de l’Ancienne Douane, on the waterfront.

For 3 weeks, the streets of Colmar will be transformed into a shopper’s paradise, with some 70 exhibitors spread out in charming little chalets.

Visitors will have the opportunity to wander between the stalls and discover a diverse selection of products, including handcrafted jewelry, unique accessories, fine embroidery, original toys, scented soaps, home decorations, exquisite chocolates, mouth-watering waffles and even captivating magic tricks.

 

Free entertainment for all ages

In addition to shopping fun, Printemps in Colmar offers a variety of activities to entertain the whole family. Visitors will have the chance to meet adorable animals such as sheep, goats, chickens and geese, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. This experience is entirely free of charge, and is designed to amaze young and old alike.

Music lovers will be delighted with free open-air concerts on the Place des Martyrs de la Résistance, from 4pm to 5pm. The program is currently being put together, and promises a varied and enchanting musical atmosphere.

Wine lovers will be able to take part in tastings offered by independent winemakers, a unique opportunity to discover the local flavors of the region.
