The end of year celebrations are approaching…

It is the occasion to prepare the traditional bredele, these small typical cookies of the region of which each family has its well kept secret recipe.

With cinnamon, lemon, candied orange peel or marbled… there is something for everyone!

Pia’s butterbredele recipe

 

Ingredients

500g of flour

250g of butter (1/2 salt or not according to taste)

250g of sugar

4 egg yolks

1/2 sachet of baking powder

Some cookie cutters

 

For the gilding

2 egg yolks

A little powdered sugar

 

Preparation

Advice 

You can add a little cinnamon to the dough if you wish.
